Azad Mirzajanzada Development Program opens applications for third wave

The Azad Mirzajanzada Development Program has announced the opening of applications for its third wave.

According to Report, the program is a unique initiative aimed at developing leadership skills, innovative thinking, and a project-oriented approach among active citizens of Azerbaijan.

The program brings together talented students and professionals from across the country, offering them opportunities for intensive training, hands-on project work, and expert mentorship from leading practitioners.

From the first two waves, 16 winners from various regions have already implemented or are continuing to implement their projects in both business and the public sector. These initiatives contribute to the country"s future, covering areas such as creative industries, digitalization, education, economic support, social welfare, and more.

Winners of the third wave will receive project funding of up to 5,000 AZN as well as organizational support.

All participants will have access to practical workshops and training sessions on leadership, emotional intelligence, communications, innovative and critical thinking, creativity, and project management. They will gain experience working on real initiatives, both individually and in teams, with a focus on social impact, efficiency, and sustainability. Mentorship from leading experts, constructive feedback, and networking opportunities with like-minded individuals, opinion leaders, and industry professionals are also included.

Eligibility: Azerbaijani citizens aged 18 to 35, who are active and initiative-driven members of society, ready to grow, experiment, and promote ideas with social and economic impact.

Applications are open until October 25, 2025.
