Baku to host 3rd CIS International Statistics Forum in late September

The 3rd CIS International Statistics Forum will be held in Baku on September 24–26, according to the official CIS internet portal, Report informs.

The forum will bring together representatives of national statistical services, international organizations, government institutions, and research communities.

The event will focus on the theme "Prospects for the Development of Statistics: The Role of International Projects." Participants will discuss methodology, national and international practices, and global statistical initiatives such as the System of National Accounts 2025 and the 2030 round of population and housing censuses, as well as the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) monitoring.

Special attention will also be given to key factors in project effectiveness, including the use of information technologies and the integration and application of smart data.
