The effective and successful presidency of Azerbaijan at the COP29 summit made an important contribution to global sustainability in climate policy, Csaba Kőrösi, President of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly and Head of the President's Office of Hungary (Secretary of State), said at the Climate Action Week in Baku.
According to Report, he noted that, despite the challenges facing global climate policy, Azerbaijan demonstrated that even during periods of geopolitical tension, it is possible to develop a coherent program encompassing climate and sustainability policies, as well as markets.
Kőrösi added that COP29 was exemplary both in terms of preparation and implementation.
