Washington agreement seen as step closer to peace in the region

The agreement reached in Washington has become a reality that brings peace in the region closer, stated Ali Huseynli, Chairman of the Legal Policy and State Building Committee of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), Report informs.

The MP made the remark during a special session held as part of the parliament's extraordinary session, dedicated to the theme: "Washington Agreements: A Triumph of Peace Diplomacy and Wise Leadership."

He emphasized that the current reality reflects the readiness of both Azerbaijan and Armenia to achieve peace.
