Roundtable held on ‘Role of Public Solidarity in Liberation, Revival of Karabakh

On September 25, a roundtable discussion titled "The Role of Public Solidarity in the Liberation and Revival of Karabakh" was held to mark the fifth anniversary of Remembrance Day, Report informs, referring to the Karabakh Revival Fund.

The event was organized jointly by the Karabakh Revival Fund and the Baku International Multiculturalism Center. Participants included members of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (Parliament), government officials, families of fallen heroes, veterans, leaders of ethnic and religious communities, as well as representatives of civil society and the media.

Chairman of the Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, Rahman Hajiyev, emphasized that the historic victory in Karabakh is a vivid embodiment of the nation's unwavering unity and solidarity: "Under the resolute leadership and political will of President Ilham Aliyev, the people united around a common cause. The heroic efforts of our soldiers and national solidarity were among the key pillars of this triumph. The large-scale reconstruction efforts in the liberated territories under the instructions of the head of state are being strengthened and expanded through the active participation of various segments of society. Public solidarity and coordinated action enable these vital efforts to be carried out more efficiently and swiftly."

Executive Director of the Baku International Multiculturalism Center, Ravan Hasanov, noted that the Center consistently promotes national unity, patriotic spirit, and the values of peace, tolerance, and multiculturalism that have been shaped by the Azerbaijani people over centuries.

The event also featured the screening of a short documentary titled "We are strong together", dedicated to Victory Day and produced by the Baku International Multiculturalism Center.

Additionally, attendees viewed the photo exhibition "From Tragedy to Victory", showcasing the reconstruction efforts underway in the liberated territories.
