Prosecutor General's Offices of Azerbaijan, Tanzania to sign memorandum

The Prosecutor General's Offices of Azerbaijan and Tanzania will sign a memorandum of understanding, Tanzania's Prosecutor General, Sylvester Anthony Mwakitalu, said at the international conference "Guarding Sovereignty: The Status of the Prosecutor's Office in the Constitution" in Baku, Report informs.

He emphasized that cooperation between national and international institutions is essential for the prosecutor's office to effectively protect the rule of law.

"Cooperation between prosecutorial authorities is an important tool for improving performance through the exchange of experience and joint training. I am pleased that a memorandum of understanding will be signed between the prosecutorial authorities of Tanzania and the Republic of Azerbaijan. This memorandum will be an important document that will establish a framework for long-term and sustainable cooperation between the two prosecutorial authorities," the Prosecutor General said.
