Minister of Youth and Sports: We will work in direction set by Azerbaijani President

"Medal winners at the Tokyo Olympics are older, more experienced athletes," new Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov told Report.

"President Ilham Aliyev also touched upon the failure of our young athletes to win medals at the Olympic Games. He instructed me to study this issue, analyze it and draw certain conclusions. Of course, we will work seriously in this direction," he added.

Gayibov also said he will continue his activities as the president of the European Union of Gymnastics (UEG).
