Female deminers remove hundreds of mines in Azerbaijan's liberated lands

Currently, 18 female deminers and 2 female paramedics (medical workers) are operating in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) told Report.
According to the ANAMA, female deminers have so far cleared 501 hectares of land from mines and discovered nearly 400 mines and unexploded ordnance.
Since 2023, all-female demining teams have been involved in demining activities in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. They initially worked in the Aghdam district. Now, they are participating in demining operations in the Talish village area of the Aghdara district.
