Azerbaijani CEC delegation to observe parliamentary elections in Moldova

A delegation led by Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission (CEC), will travel to Moldova to observe the parliamentary elections scheduled for September 28, 2025, the CEC told Report.

The visit, being carried out at the official invitation of Angelica Caraman, President of Moldova's Central Electoral Commission, is considered an important step toward strengthening cooperation between the two countries' top electoral bodies.

During the visit, Chairman Panahov is expected to meet with Moldovan counterparts and other officials to discuss prospects for long-term cooperation between election management institutions, opportunities for mutual exchange of experience, and key issues related to the organization and administration of elections.

The Azerbaijani delegation will familiarize itself with the overall preparations for the elections ahead of voting day and will observe the voting procedures at polling stations in the capital, Chișinău, on election day.
