Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan plan joint feature film project

Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are planning to produce a joint feature film, Kazakh Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alim Bayel said during the opening of the Month of Kazakh Cinema in Azerbaijan, Report informs.
The diplomat's remarks were published on the official website of the Kazakh Embassy in Baku.
Ambassador Bayel spoke about the development of Kazakh cinema, noting a growing interest in historical studies in both countries and praising the production of historical films in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
He emphasized the importance of promoting such cultural initiatives as a key factor in strengthening Turkic identity and unity. "Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are planning to make a joint feature film," the statement read.
The Month of Kazakh Cinema opened in Azerbaijan with the screening of Aydyn Sakhaman's film about the legendary music group Dos-Mukasan.
The Azerbaijani audience also viewed Olzhas Nurbay's film Fraudsters, which highlights common deception schemes and how to avoid them.
The cinema marathon concluded with Aydyn Sakhaman's historical film Kazakh Khanate: Diamond Sword, set in the 15th century during the founding of a new state by Khans Kerey and Zhanibek.
