Film by Azerbaijani director presented out of competition at 82nd Venice Int'l Film Festival

The film by famous Azerbaijani director Hilal Baydarov "Sermon to the Void" is presented in the Out of Competition Fiction program of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture.

The film, presented with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Cinema Agency of Azerbaijan, aroused great interest among experts and viewers.

The ideological and aesthetic merits of the film "Sermon to the Void", the final film of Hilal Baydarov's trilogy "Sermon", were highly praised.

The screenwriters of the film are Hilal Baydarov and Aysu Akcan, and the producer is Orkhan Fikretoglu.

Huseyn Nasirov, Maryam Nagiyeva, Rana Asgarova, Elshan Abbasov and Orkhan Iskandarli starred in the joint project of Azerbaijani, Mexican and Turkish filmmakers.
