Closing ceremony of CIS youth camp held in Azerbaijan's Lachin

The closing ceremony of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) youth camp has been held in Azerbaijan's Lachin, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Culture.
At the event, the special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Lachin region Masim Mammadov said that the project contributed to the international promotion of Lachin, which was declared the cultural capital of the CIS this year.
He noted the large-scale infrastructure projects being implemented in the liberated territories, as well as the conditions created in Lachin for the development of talents and abilities of young people.
The head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Culture Farrukh Jumayev emphasized that the youth camp, timed to coincide with August 26 - Lachin City Day, will not only contribute to the cultural integration of the CIS countries, but will also play a role in the development of the creative environment in the city of Lachin, revived by the state.
Videos dedicated to the announcement of Lachin as the "CIS Cultural Capital" and the holding of the youth camp were also shown at the ceremony.
The camp was attended by young people from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. In conclusion, certificates were presented to camp participants and volunteers.
