Volume of metal and metal products transported via Baku Port up 55%

During January-October of this year, more than 327,000 tons of metal and metal products were transported through Baku Port (+55%), Report informs, citing the Baku International Sea Trade Port.

Metal and metal products brought to Baku Port mainly from Kazakhstan are delivered to Türkiye and a number of European countries such as Italy, Germany, and Poland by transiting through Azerbaijan.

Metal products brought to Baku Port by ship are unloaded in an operative form and mostly loaded on TIRs and sent to the country of final destination.
