United Airlines to purchase 200 flying electric taxis

United Airlines, the leading US airline, plans to buy 200 flying electric taxis to transport passengers to airports, Report mentions, citing The Wall Street Journal.
The airline will pay $1 billion to California-based manufacturer Archer for the next five years and cooperate with the domestic carrier Mesa.
These taxis operate at a speed of about 240 kilometers per hour, which will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 50%.
