Safar Mehdiyev: Attempts to smuggle over 622 kg of heroin prevented

Azerbaijani customs officers have carried out another successful operation as part of measures to combat drug trafficking, said chairman of the State Customs Committee Safar Mehdiyev.

"Attempts to smuggle more than 622 kilograms of heroin across the country's customs border have been prevented," he noted.
