OTS rep: Azerbaijan to undoubtedly secure its position in European market

In the short and medium term, Azerbaijan will undoubtedly secure its position in the European market, said Balazs Hendrich, Executive Director of the Representation Office of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Hungary, Report informs.

He made the remark on the second day of the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF-2025) held in Baku.

The director noted that if the Middle Corridor is truly recognized as an opportunity, it will transform into a tangible advantage.

Hendrich emphasized that the majority of global water resources are consumed by agriculture: "This immediately brings water management to the forefront. Water is often not just a national issue but a regional one. Rivers cross borders, which makes water diplomacy extremely important."

The official also stressed that for landlocked countries like Hungary, efficient water resource management is of vital importance.

"We must find the most suitable solutions to fully utilize our water and agricultural potential. For this, cooperation with technology providers and innovators is essential," he added.
