USD - 1.700 Number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan nears 762,000

As of January 1 of this year, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan was 761,700, up 7% from the beginning of last year.
Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, that 45,700 of them are value-added tax (VAT) payers (+14.4%).
During the reporting period, the number of active objects (business subjects) increased by 8.1% to 204,600.
