Musk: Buying Tesla now possible with bitcoins

Elon Musk, head of the US electric car manufacturer Tesla, said that the company’s cars can now be purchased using the Bitcoin cryptocurrency, Report informs.
“You can now buy a Tesla with Bitcoin. Bitcoin paid to Tesla will be retained as Bitcoin, not converted to fiat currency. Pay by Bitcoin capability available outside US later this year,” Musk tweeted.
On Feb. 8, Tesla announced that it had invested $1.5 billion in the Bitcoin cryptocurrency. The company also announced that it plans to accept bitcoins as payment for its products in the near future.
