Minister of Finance notes potential to further increase trade between Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia

In the last year, the value of trade between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia has increased by more than 60%, and there is potential to expand it further, Co-chairman of the Joint Commission on Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov said at the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia business forum in Baku.
"This year, an agreement was signed with Saudi Arabia's Acwa Power company on the construction of a 240 MW wind energy park in Azerbaijan. Such contracts can be inked in other fields. There may be companies from Azerbaijan that can consider investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia and participate in various development projects," Sharifov said.
