Green energy projects discussed in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijan Entrepreneurship Development Fund under the Ministry of Economy and the State Agency on Renewable Energy Sources under the Ministry of Energy held a meeting today.

Report informs, citing the fund, that the sides discussed encouraging entrepreneurs to using alternative energy. They also mulled opportunities to form financial mechanisms of supporting industrial projects and active consumers in renewables, provision of joint support to projects on 'green energy,' and prospects for cooperation in other spheres.

The Entrepreneurship Development Fund defined the support for projects in alternative energy as one of the priority directions in the provision of preferential loans in 2021.
