Georgia's foreign trade increases by 37%

In January-May this year, Georgia's foreign trade amounted to $6.9 billion (+37%), Report informs, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
In the first five months, exports increased by 36.2% to $2.1 billion, while imports were up by 37.3%, reaching $4.8 billion.
As a result, a deficit of $2.7 billion in foreign trade accounted for 39.5% of total trade turnover.
