Georgia gets 12% decline in foreign trade turnover

In January-February, Georgia’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $1,654,000,000, which is 12% less than the previous year, Report informs, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
The export operations fell by 6.8% to $494.7 million, import operations dropped 14.1% to $1,159,300,000.
Deficit accounted for $664.6 million, which is 40.2% of the trade turnover.
