Baku to host 14th annual meeting of International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds

The 14th meeting of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF) will be held in Baku next month.
Report informs that the event organizer is Azerbaijan State Oil Fund (SOCAR).
Preparations for the meeting have already started.
IFSWF was established at the International Working Group of Sovereign Wealth Funds meeting held on April 5-6, 2009, in Al-Kuwait and held its first official meeting in Baku on October 8-9 of the same year. IFSWF is a voluntary group, the main purpose of which is to exchange ideas on issues of common interest of Sovereign Funds, to facilitate the understanding of the Santiago principles and the activities of Sovereign Funds.
