Baku's trade turnover up by more than 4%

Baku's trade turnover in January–July of this year totaled 20.4897 billion manats, 4.3% higher than in the same period of 2024.

The Baku City Statistics Department told Report that compared with the same period last year, the value of food, beverages, and tobacco products sold in the retail network rose by 2% to 11.3005 billion manats, while the volume of non-food products grew by 7.2% to 9.1892 billion manats.

Of all consumer goods sold, 38.4% were realized through enterprises with legal-entity status, 50.2% through outlets owned by individual entrepreneurs, and 11.4% at the capital"s commodity markets.
