Azerbaijan, US discuss priorities for economic partnership

Azerbaijan and the United States have discussed strategic priorities for advancing their economic partnership, including cooperation in trade, energy, industry, artificial intelligence, digitalization, critical minerals, mining, and other sectors.
According to Report, Azerbaijan"s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said in a post on X that the talks took place during a meeting with Caleb Orr on the sidelines of Baku Energy Week.
Jabbarov noted that the sides underscored the importance of strengthening regional connectivity as a driver of economic activity. They also discussed opportunities for cooperation aimed at reinforcing Azerbaijan"s role as a reliable platform linking Europe, Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and the Middle East.
