Azerbaijan tops list of countries supplying milk and cream to Georgia

In January–November 2023, Georgia imported 6,212 tons of milk and cream (+17 times) worth $5.1 million (+11 times) from Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat).
Thus, Azerbaijan ranked 1st (and 3rd in terms of value) among the countries supplying milk and cream to Georgia.
During the reporting period, Georgia bought 23,527 tons of milk and cream (+35%) worth $41 million (+3.5%) from foreign countries.
Within 11 months, 4,000 tons worth $8.5 million were purchased from Belarus, 1,523 tons worth $5.1 million from the Netherlands, 2,319 tons worth $4.4 million from Russia, and 1,908 tons worth $4.3 million from Iran.
