Azerbaijan sees 8-fold surge in urea sales to Argentina

In January-July 2025, Azerbaijan exported 338,658 tons of urea worth $100.23 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 10% in volume and 61% in value, Report informs, referring to the countrys State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan sold urea to:
- Ukraine: 251,885 tons (+55%) worth $75.8 million (+2.3 times);
- Canada: 44,249 tons worth $12.5 million (no supply a year ago);
- Argentina: 22,408 tons (+8 times) worth $6.1 million (+9 times);
- Uruguay: 7,196 tons worth $1.94 million (no supply a year ago);
- Romania: 5,072 tons (-89%) worth $1.37 million (-75%).
In 2024, 50% of the 564,922 tons of urea exported from Azerbaijan went to Ukraine.
