Azerbaijan resumes purchasing jewelry from Australia

In January-June of this year, 1,608 kg of jewelry (made of silver and other precious metals) (+41%) worth 21.634 million dollars (+2.1 times) were imported to Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

Azerbaijan received 46.6 kilograms (+27.5%) worth $10 million (+2 times) from Italy, 11.1 kilograms (+2.2 times) worth $2.1 million (+2.2 times) from Switzerland, 861 kilograms (+55%) worth $1.983 million (+2.6 times) from Türkiye, 9.46 kilograms (+2.9 times) worth $1.38 million (+2.2 times) from the US, and 0.52 kilograms (+6.5 times) worth of $1.23 million (+3 times) from UK.

Azerbaijan resumed supply from Australia (0.08 kilograms worth $30,300 ) in 2 years and 7 months.

Some 50.4% of jewelry worth $27 million imported to Azerbaijan (from 23 countries) in 2022 fell to the share of Italy.
