Azerbaijan resumes jewelry imports from Austria

In the first half of 2025, Azerbaijan imported 1,497 kilograms of jewelry (made of gold, silver, and other precious metals), valued at $18.82 million, marking a year-on-year decline of 20% and 9%, respectively, Report informs, citing the country"s State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased jewelry from:

- Italy: 33.7 kilograms (-13%) worth $9.26 million (12% less than a year ago);

- Switzerland: 10.72 kilograms (-17%) worth $2.18 million (-11%);

- India: 19.1 kilograms (+46%) worth $1.33 million (+54%);

- France: 3.71 kilograms (+3%) worth $1.3 million (+48%);

- Türkiye: 558 kilograms (-36%) worth $904,000 (-23%).

Azerbaijan has resumed supplies from Austria (0.01 kilograms worth $1,500) after a break of 1 year and 8 months.
