Azerbaijan represented at CIAT General Assembly

The State Tax Service (STS) under the Ministry of Economy represented Azerbaijan at the 60th General Assembly of the Inter‑American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT), Report informs, citing the STS.

The event was held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

During the Assembly, representatives of tax administrations from Latin America, Asia, and other regions exchanged experiences on digital transformation of tax administration, improvement of electronic services, automatic information exchange, application of AI-based solutions, taxation of the digital economy

The Azerbaijani delegation also held several bilateral meetings with foreign tax administrations and representatives of international organizations, discussing opportunities for mutual cooperation and knowledge exchange.
