Azerbaijan reduces cost of importing dried fruits from Turkiye by 5%

In January-May 2022, Azerbaijan imported dried fruits and their products worth $ 2.354 million (-5%) from Turkiye, Report informs, citing the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM).
In May of this year alone, Turkiye exported $ 0.366 million worth of dried fruits to Azerbaijan, 2.5 times more than last year.
In the first five months of this year, Turkey's total exports of dried fruits increased by 11.2% year-on-year to $ 637 million, while in May, the value of exports decreased by 8.9% to $ 95.409 million.
