Azerbaijan increases spending on importing sugar by 5%

In 2023, Azerbaijan imported sugar and sugar confectionery worth 239.17 million (+4.6%), Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

In the reporting period, Azerbaijan also exported $24.93 million worth of sugar and sugar confectionery (-39.3%).

In 2023, the imports of sugar and confectionery made up 1.4% of the total imports of Azerbaijan, and the exports constituted 0.1% of the total exports.
