Azerbaijan increases potato sales to Kazakhstan by 5 times

In January-July 2025, Azerbaijan exported 70,830 tons of potatoes (excluding seed potatoes), valued at $28.1 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 47% in volume and 37% in value, Report informs, referring to the country's State Statistical Committee.
During this period, Azerbaijan exported potatoes to:
- Russia: 59,376 tons (+40%) worth $22.7 million (+24%);
- Belarus: 5,693 tons (+2.7 times) worth $3.15 million (+3 times);
- Ukraine: 4,394 tons (+50%) worth $1.8 million (+95%);
- Georgia: 1,000 tons (+52%) worth $303,400 (+49%),
- Kazakhstan: 214 tons (+5 times) worth $85,400 (+5 times).
In 2024, 88% of the 48,345 tons of potatoes exported from Azerbaijan went to Russia.
