Azerbaijan increases meat import expenses by 49%

During January-November of this year, Azerbaijan imported 53,300 tons of meat.

Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee, that the value of this amount of meat was $117 million.

This represents an increase of 15,050 tons (39.3%) in volume and $38.4 million (48.9%) in value compared to the same period last year.

During the reporting period, meat import expenses accounted for 0.6% of Azerbaijan's total import expenses.
