Azerbaijan becomes one of main suppliers of iron and steel to Georgia

In January-August of this year, Georgia imported iron and steel worth $26.52 million (-23%) from Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the data of the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
Thus, Azerbaijan ranks 5th among the countries (37) supplying iron and steel to Georgia.
During the reporting period, Georgia bought $236 million worth of iron and steel from foreign countries (-13%).
In particular, Georgia imported iron and steel worth $60.5 million from Russia, $51.2 million from Iran, $40.7 million from China, and $37 million from Türkiye.
