Amazon CEO sells company shares worth $2.5B

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos this week sold shares nearly worth $2 billion in his company, according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission compiled by OpenInsider, Report informs referring to CNBC.
Bezos sold roughly $684 million worth of Amazon shares on May 4, the filings show, after unloading about $1.27 billion worth of stock on May 3. That means he’s sold about $1.95 billion worth of Amazon shares over the past two days.
Bezos is the richest man in the world with a fortune of $190 billion.
Amazon’s capitalization has remained virtually unchanged since the beginning of this year at $1.67 trillion, while the Standard & Poor’s 500 stock index rose 11 percent over this period.
