Presidential aide: Agroparks, agro-processing to become priority in Karabakh

Creation of agro-parks, the development of agro-processing, and the implementation of fisheries and aquaculture projects will be the main development areas in Azerbaijan's Karabakh region, Emin Huseynov, special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, said at a meeting on the 2026-2030 State Program for the Development of the Agricultural Sector, Report informs.
According to him, the creation of agro-parks, the construction of agricultural processing facilities, and the development of fisheries projects are planned in these districts. Priorities also include the development of large and medium-sized farms, the expansion of livestock farming and forage production, and the development of horticulture, viticulture, and intensive fruit growing.
The development of logistics and warehouse infrastructure and the establishment of export-oriented processing facilities are also envisaged, with the aim of transforming these districts into hubs for agribusiness and agro-processing.
