Azerbaijan wants to diversify export of agricultural products

60% of Azerbaijan's agricultural products are exported to the markets of the CIS countries, and the main goal is to diversify the export of these products, Adviser to the executive director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) Tural Hajili said at 2nd Turkic Agro Business Forum held in Baku.
"There are a number of new projects in this direction. We have targeted European, Gulf and East Asian countries for export expansion. A number of new mechanisms for diversification are under preparation.
"Currently, Azerbaijan exports 326 agricultural products to 88 markets. In the last 3 years, there has been a continuous increase in exports," he added.
