Azerbaijan starts importing butter from two more countries

In the first 11 months of 2021, Azerbaijan imported 12,336.64 tons of butter worth $ 64.199 million, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
Compared to last year's same period, supplies decreased by 3.62% in value and 8.39% in quantity.
During the reporting period, 5,699.15 tons of butter (-3.38%) worth $ 29.484 million (-9.44%) were imported from New Zealand, 2,603.46 tons (-23.62%) worth $ 13.449 million (-26.1%) from Ukraine, 1,522.74 tons (-2.9%) worth $ 7.988 million (-2.7%) from Belarus, 696.64 tons (-33.2%) worth $ 3.891 million (-23.7%) from Finland, and 342.21 tons (-11.2%) worth $ 2.076 million (-20.2%) from France.
After a three-year hiatus, imports from Latvia have resumed. Last year, for the first time, Azerbaijan began to import butter from Paraguay.
