Azerbaijan's meat imports down 14%

Azerbaijan imported 7,886 tons of meat worth over $14.1 million from January through February 2020, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.
According to the information, meat imports dropped 1,254 tons, or 13.72 percent, compared to the same period last year.
However, the committee added that the monetary value of the meat imports exceeded the figure of the first two months last year by over $1.5 million or 12.14 percent.
Meat constituted 0.79% of Azerbaijan's total imports in the first two months of 2020.
