Azerbaijan's meat imports down by 7%

Last year, Azerbaijan imported 41,038 tons of meat for $70.56 million, 2,910 tons (6.6%) and $8,130,000 (10.3%) less than in 2020, respectively, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
During the reporting period, expenditure on meat imports accounted for 0.6% of Azerbaijan's total import expenditures.
Compared to 2020, in 2021, Azerbaijan's meat production in live weight increased by 3.2% and amounted to 610,000 tons.
