Azerbaijan's earnings from cotton exports up

From January through February 2022, Azerbaijan imported cotton for $689,000, $48,000 (6.5%) less than in the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

The monetary value of Azerbaijan's cotton exports in the first two months of 2022 amounted to $61.276 million, which is $16.101 million (35.6%) more than a year ago.

During the reporting period, cotton imports accounted for 0.03% of Azerbaijan's total imports and cotton exports for 1.03% of total exports.
