Azerbaijan resumes buying green tea from Czech Republic

Azerbaijan imported 78.73 tons of green tea (-21%) worth $657,000 (+0.3%) in January-June of this year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

Azerbaijan purchased 26.76 tons (-18%) of green tea worth $228,110 (-15.6%) from Russia, 24 tons (-54%) worth $100,710 (-43%) from China, 12.61 tons (+12 times) worth $84,860 (+11 times) from Iran, 4.39 tons (+26%) worth $74,550 (+15.4%) from Türkiye, and 6.1 tons (+32%) worth of $69,210 (+37.2%) from United Arab Emirates.

After a break of 1 year and 6 months, Azerbaijan resumed supply from the Czech Republic (10 kg worth $170).

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 34.21 tons (-36%) of green tea worth $213,000 (+3%).

Azerbaijan exported 24.53 tons (+86%) worth $142,000 (+92%) to Ukraine, 1.85 tons (-14%) worth $14,810 (-5%) to Georgia, 2.11 tons (+2.8 times) worth $13,160 (+2.3 times) to Moldova, 1.7 tons (+52 %) worth $10,000 (+84 %) to Israel, and 1.27 tons (+14 times) worth of $8,200 (+7.1 times) to the United States of America.
