Azerbaijan participates in OIC High-Level Expert meeting

Azerbaijan participated in the High-Level Expert meeting in Doha, the capital of Qatar, within the framework of membership in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), to discuss the establishment of a Food Security Reserve System (FSRS), identification of strategic agricultural products for this purpose, and the draft Strategic Plan for Food Security for 2026-2035, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Agriculture Ministry.

Azerbaijan was represented at the international event by a delegation led by Azad Jafarli, the head of the ministry's office.

The event served as a preparatory meeting to identify and analyze issues to be discussed during the next OIC Ministerial Conference on agricultural development and food security, as well as to formulate positions.
