Azerbaijan increases rice import up to 14% in 2022

In January-February 2022, Azerbaijan imported 10,962 tons of rice worth $9,087,000.

Report informs citing the State Customs Committee that this is more than in the same period last year in quantitative terms by 1,305 tons (13.5%), and in value terms - by $2,429,000 (36.5%).

Rice import spending for the reporting period amounted to 0.46% of Azerbaijan's total import spending.
