Azerbaijan increases rice import by almost 65%

In January of this year, Azerbaijan imported 4,900 tons of rice worth $3.5 million.
Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee, that this is an increase of $1.7 million (97.8%) or 1,900 tons (64.7%) than in the same period last year.
Rice imports for the reporting period amounted to 0.45% of Azerbaijan's total imports.
