Azerbaijan increases fruit and vegetable exports by 12%

In January-November 2023, Azerbaijan exported 641,740 tons (+12.2%) of fruits and vegetables worth $641,188,000 (+8.1%), Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

In 11 months, the income from the export of fruits and vegetables was 2% of the country's total export income and 21.4% of the export income of the non-oil sector.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 312,660 tons (-8.6%) of fruits and vegetables worth $200,831,000 (-3.6%).

During the reporting period, the cost of importing fruits and vegetables was 1.3% of the total import costs.
